You know those obligatory warnings that accompany any drug advertisement, the ones listing (in graphic detail, at times) the possible side effects of a given drug or treatment? Well, those kinds of issues usually affect some tiny proportion of the people who used the drug in clinical trials.
But when it comes to pre-trip vaccines, much more warning seems necessary.
Marijana and I both got our shots yesterday, and if this is how the vaccine for yellow fever (or typhoid, or meningitis, or hepatitis, or...) makes a person feel, I never want to know what it's like to weather that viral storm when it's in full fury.
Blech.
