Announcing RefRefs

Have you ever screamed in impotent rage at your television, cursing the blind referee for his or her incompetence? Or maybe you've had to listen to an enraged fan rant on in complete ignorance of reality. Have you ever wished there was something you could do about it?

Well now there is (if you're a soccer fan, anyway).

We'd like to take this opportunity to announce RefRefs, the world's first referee review website for fans.

On RefRefs, you can rank referees in the areas of bias, consistency, accuracy, and control, as well as attach video evidence to support your assessments. You can also browse through a referee's performance statistics and other fans' ratings. We have taken great care to make the site a place for balanced referee analysis and discussion of the Laws of the Game. We hope that, in the near future, it becomes a repository of knowledge on today's referees.

So, if you're curious about who's in the middle for your team's next match, or if you'd like to know how your team performs under certain refs, or if you'd just like to let the world know what you think about this referee's performance, RefRefs is the place for you.
